Boost for Enniscorthy as Datapac to create 35 jobs
Technology solutions and services provider Datapac is expanding its Wexford footprint, with €2.1m helping a recruitment drive for 35 new hires by the end of next year.
The job openings will primarily be in technical and business development, supporting Datapac’s expanded managed service offerings.
The investment will also see an expansion and enhancement of the company’s ICT managed services at its Network Operations Centre (NOC) at Enniscorthy.
NOC will benefit through the likes of its best-in-class remote monitoring and management platforms, as well as new automated technologies and enhanced training programmes.
The company claims it has invested in several hundred engineer days to design, configure and implement the upgraded service infrastructure.
Through this, Datapac hopes it can provide completely tailored solutions for its customer base.
Karen O’Connor, general manager of service delivery at the company, said this marks a major point in Datapac’s 35 years in existence.

With demand for Datapac’s services growing, the money should help drive new customer acquisition.
